Stephen’s journey began with roles at Verily-Google Life Sciences, Apple, Amazon Web Services, and Samsung Research. As a college athlete on the swimming team, he achieved national championship victories two years in a row. Despite majoring in computer science, Stephen dedicated more time to practice than to his studies. Unfortunately, a car accident left him with a broken shoulder, leading to chronic dislocation. After undergoing hill-sachs/bankart repair surgery, Stephen embarked on a rehab journey in the US. Frustrated by siloed approaches from orthopedic doctors and physical therapists, he founded ViFive. His vision? A digital health platform tailored to musculoskeletal disorders, leveraging data-driven approaches through vision AI technology.
